The Pac-12 Network’s Purpose Is Not To Make Money

The Pac-12 has something in common with USC. It likes to lecture the public instead of trying to work together. Here’s Mark Shuken, the Pac-12 Network president, telling Sports Business Journal the network’s goal is not to make money but to  “amplify student-athletes and their experiences.” And here everyone thought the goal was to make money. Or if you DirecTV, not watch it. lmao cmon … Continue reading The Pac-12 Network’s Purpose Is Not To Make Money

USC Morning Buzz: Appearances Can Be Deceiving

A USC football play in three acts: ACT I I wouldn’t overreact to the identity of the USC quarterback who is hanging out on the weekend with the men who protect him, but I would note it. https://t.co/K9cvccOnkx — Brady McCollough (@BradyMcCollough) April 15, 2019 https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js ACT II @CoachDrev @CoachHarrellUSC oh no more FALSE NARRATIVE…the second “pizza party” (the 1st grade kind) that daddy Daniels … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Appearances Can Be Deceiving

The San Diego High School graduate led USC in rushing, scoring and total offense and was named all-conference in 1937. Schindler also led the Trojans in 1939, and was named MVP of the 1940 Rose Bowl. The 1939 team was eventually recognized … Continue reading A Trojan Great With Who Worked On “Wizard Of Oz” Dies

USC Afternoon Notes: Media QB Preferences

I might start keeping a media poll on the USC quarterback job. The Los Angeles Times said JT Daniels should start the season opener. The Athletic said today to expect Daniels to start. Former UNLV coach Harvey Hyde and I have said Jack Sears should be the starter. To be clear, Hyde and I are saying who should start. Not who Clay Helton will choose. Who … Continue reading USC Afternoon Notes: Media QB Preferences
