Talk about a case of hype not meeting actual performance. USC guard Kevin Porter said he will turn pro and sign with an agent, which means his college career is officially over. What exactly did USC get from this possible lottery pick? He had the mysterious bruised thigh that sidelined him for weeks. He got into a heated argument with Andy Enfield and was suspended. … Continue reading Reaction To Kevin Porter Turning Pro
Imagine how unhappy Lynn Swann must be that he spent this week in Los Angeles instead of wearing his green blazer as a member of the hospitality committee at the Masters. Former USC wide receiver Trevon Sidney also visited Illinois last weekend but has not made a decision yet. Continue reading Oluwole Betiku To Illinois
New UCLA coach Mick Cronin might lose to USC next season but he has to like the fact he is basically going against a nincompoop in Andy Enfield as his crosstown rival. That’s a dropoff from going against Chris Mack at Xavier for most of his tenure at Cincinnati. Before Mack, Cronin went against Sean Miller at Xavier. Now he will face a guy who … Continue reading The Crosstown Rivalry Just Got Interesting . . . Or Not
