USC Morning Buzz: Athletic Dept. On Edge
I asked someone who works in the athletic dept. how things are going since new athletic director Mike Bohn took over? “Everyone is running around scared,” the person said. It’s probably difficult for some people who are not used to an athletic director who was not a former football player. The scary part is some people there were around the last time that happened (1984). … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Athletic Dept. On Edge
Mike Bohn Talks About ASU Game
One thing I like about new athletic director Mike Bohn is how willing he seems to be to do media. Bohn spoke on the “Trojans Live” show tonight. Some highlights: On the USC-Arizona State game: “(USC) had a lot of adversity. (We have) athletic guys that are out there battling. I was watching (the game on TV) as much as I could. “They had a … Continue reading Mike Bohn Talks About ASU Game
When Will USC-UCLA Kick Off?

Here are the potential TV times: ESPN 4:30 p.m. ESPN 12:30 p.m. ESPN/Fox Sports 7:30 p.m. The other available games are Utah-Arizona; Oregon-Arizona State and Washington-Colorado. I could see the USC-UCLA game getting the 12:30 p.m. slot but who knows if ESPN wants it there? Continue reading When Will USC-UCLA Kick Off?
Mike Bohn Is At Heritage Hall
Mike Bohn is working at Heritage Hall today. He’s already watched the Oregon and Arizona State games. I would imagine he is starting to put out feelers to agents of coaches to see who might be interested in the USC job. At least Bohn is experienced at this, hiring three football coaches at Colorado and one at Cincinnati. Remember, Mike Garrett and Pat Haden had … Continue reading Mike Bohn Is At Heritage Hall
USC Morning Buzz: Here’s A Stat For Mike Bohn
With Jack Yary’s decommitment, USC’s recruiting class is now ranked No. 77 by 247 Sports and No. 71 by Rivals. USC has 10 commitments. 10 commitments! When I say Clay Helton needs to be fired now, this is a pretty big reason. Someone needs to be out there on the recruiting trail telling prospects not to sign early or wait for the new coach to … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Here’s A Stat For Mike Bohn
Jack Yary Decommits From USC
Tight end Jack Yary, the son of USC legendary offensive lineman Ron Yary, decommitted on Sunday night. The irony here is Ron Yary was perfectly happy to see his son go to USC. But Jack Yary also saw the Air Raid offense does not exactly include a tight end. USC’s tight ends have caught 13 passes this season. The rest of the team has caught … Continue reading Jack Yary Decommits From USC
