USC Morning Buzz: Sometimes It Pays To Go Pro
USC defensive tackle Kyon Barrs and cornerback Christian Roland-Wallace will sign free-agent contracts with NFL teams. Barrs will sign with the Titans and Roland-Wallace is going to the Chiefs. In retrospect, both would have been better off going pro a year ago instead of transferring from Arizona to USC. That’s part of the gamble when you transfer. They didn’t raise their draft stock in the … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Sometimes It Pays To Go Pro
USC Sweeps Dual Meet
A successful day for USC track and field as it swept UCLA in the dual track meet. The men’s team won, 99-60, while the women’s team won, 85-74. The crowd was smaller than usual, probably because of the tighter security measures to get on campus and there was only one exit to leave campus, so it took awhile for fans to leave. USC honored the … Continue reading USC Sweeps Dual Meet

We’ll find out when Wagner decides if he wants to follow John Calipari to Arkansas, stay at … Continue reading USC Sunday Buzz: A Serious Visit To Campus?
Big Pickup For USC Women’s Basketball
Stanford forward Kiki Iriafen has committed to USC, a significant addition that makes the Trojans a favorite for the national title. Iriafen, who is 6-3, led the Cardinal in scoring (19.4 points), field-goal percentage (55 percent) and was second in rebounding (11.0). That’s pretty good when you consider she was teammates with Cameron Brink. She might be the No. 1 pick in next year’s WNBA … Continue reading Big Pickup For USC Women’s Basketball
Seven USC Players Taken In NFL Draft
Are you surprised Brenden Rice slipped to the seventh round before being picked by the Chargers? I’m not. USC lost Jordan Addison and was crying out for a go-to receiver last season but Rice didn’t claim that role and had a pretty standard season despite having Caleb Williams at quarterback. Frankly, Tahj Washington had a better season and he also got selected in the seventh … Continue reading Seven USC Players Taken In NFL Draft
