Oregon’s secondary now features four Southern California players: Dakoda Fields (Gardena Serra), Peyton Woodyard (St. John Bosco), Solomon Davis (Charter Oak) and Rodrick Pleasant (Gardena Serra). The USC women’s basketball celebration Sunday apparently didn’t draw much of a crowd. It got moved from the Town and Gown building on campus to a smaller, non-descript meeting room at the USC Hotel across the street. Encampment Saga Ends Peacefully
Carol Folt has just patted herself on the back in an official statement on the removal of the encampment at Alumni Park. After LAPD arrived to clear the park, it ended early Sunday morning with no arrests and students leaving peacefully. USC Wins Fourth Straight NCAA Title
USC defeated UCLA, 3-0, Sunday morning to win its fourth straight NCAA title in beach volleyball. It is the Trojans’ seventh title overall in beach volleyball. The Nourse twins, Audrey and Nicole, clinched the title for the second straight season. The other Trojan teams to win their matches were Maddi Kriz/Madison White and Ashley Pater/Grace Seits.
