Lincoln Riley is finally going to hire a veteran special teams coach . . . after four years. Mike Ekeler, who was USC’s linebackers coach in 2013, is being hired from Nebraska to coach special teams according to CBS Sports. Husan Longstreet has signed with LSU, according to CBS Sports. He will be expected to play behind Sam Leavitt, unless Leavitt cannot recover in time from a foot injury. Peter Read Miller, a legendary sports photographer who spent more than 35 years at Sports Ilustrated, passed away over the weekend. He was Class of 1969 USC graduate and took photos for the school yearbook, El Rodeo, as a student.
