Let’s Remember Some Trojans On Memorial Day
Since it is Memorial Day, here are a few USC related stories: Foy Draper is best known for winning a gold medal on the historic 1936 Olympics relay team and being a world-record holder in the 100-yard dash. But he also gave his life for his country. Draper and two crew members died on Jan. 4, 1943 while he piloted an A-20 twin-engine attack bomber … Continue reading Let’s Remember Some Trojans On Memorial Day
USC Morning Buzz: Trojans Off To Texas A&M
USC baseball is going to Texas A&M for the NCAA Tournament. The other teams in the regional are Texas State and Lamar. USC will play Texas State on Friday night at 6 p.m. PT on the dreaded ESPN+. USC didn’t really come close to hosting a regional. The fact the Trojans had only one Quad 1 win was a problem. If USC advances out of … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Trojans Off To Texas A&M
USC Sunday Buzz: Another Tradition Disappears

That’s a shame. … Continue reading USC Sunday Buzz: Another Tradition Disappears

USC led most of the game but like most games this season with the Bruins, the Trojans faltered in the late innings. The question now is whether USC has done enough to secure hosting … Continue reading USC Loses In Rough Fashion To UCLA
Should USC Have Saved Its Ace For Tomorrow In Big Ten Tourney?
USC defeated Michigan State, 7-0, today in a quarterfinal game of the Big Ten Tournament. Now comes the tricky part: USC should play UCLA tomorrow. The Bruins have been waiting all day to play Purdue but it’s been raining in Omaha, Neb. Did USC coach Andy Stankiewicz consider not throwing ace Mason Edwards today against Michigan State and saving him for UCLA? No. 2 pitcher … Continue reading Should USC Have Saved Its Ace For Tomorrow In Big Ten Tourney?
If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
Will USC play Notre Dame if the College Football Playoff gets expanded to 24 teams? I’m not 100 percent certain because Lincoln Riley didn’t even want to play Brian Kelly-LSU in 2024 even though that game really wasn’t going to make-or-break USC’s playoff hopes. At least one USC staffer has spoken to freshmen players about posting pictures from their luxury downtown apartments. The days of … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
