Palaie Gaoteote Update
I’m hearing former USC linebacker Palaie Gaoteote has UCLA and UNLV as his top two transfer destinations. Gaoteote is from Las Vegas. But I’ve also heard some SEC schools are looking at him too. Continue reading Palaie Gaoteote Update
Clay Helton Ranks USC 11 Spots Ahead Of Oregon
I wish the coaches’ poll would reveal the ballots of every coach on a weekly basis. Transparency is a good thing. But they only reveal the final ballot. And Clay Helton produced a doozy. He ranked USC at No. 13. And Oregon, who beat USC, is way down at No. 24. Is Helton bitter that USC had to play the Ducks? He even ranked them … Continue reading Clay Helton Ranks USC 11 Spots Ahead Of Oregon

And I say this as someone who consistently … Continue reading Morning Buzz: USC Promoted Great Season Until It Had Enough
USC Bowl Opt Out Riles Fans

One complaint I hear is “They wrote a letter to the Governor demanding to play but won’t go to a bowl?” Or “Would they have opted out if they beat Oregon?” I’m … Continue reading USC Bowl Opt Out Riles Fans
Sunday Buzz: Did USC Establish A New Culture?
I spoke to a USC player on Saturday morning (before the bowl opt out) who said that in the locker room after the loss to Oregon, Clay Helton said, “We started a (new) culture here” and “We are on road for national championship.” Do I even want to comment? The culture has not changed. That’s the whole point. Look at the penalties. The way USC … Continue reading Sunday Buzz: Did USC Establish A New Culture?
