USC president Max Nikias officially resigned today according to Rick Caruso, chairperson of the Board of Trustees.
The interim president will be Wanda Austin, who is a member of the Board of Trustees and former president of the Aerospace Corporation.
And now for the aggravating part: Nikias will be inducted as President Emeritus and Life Trustee of the University.
Everyone gets a golden parachute at USC.

Be glad they kept him in that capacity – he’s an All Star fundraiser. I know I know “….how hypocritical to let him stay!” As long as he vacates that palatial residence who cares? His wings have been clipped. The real problem is the maniacal ‘musical chairs’ i.e. the ‘politburo’ when ‘Koba’ croaked in 1953 . Wait for that sleaze Quick make a move on the throne. Austin fills all the ‘progressive’ boxes – female, minority – big big minus from ‘naw yawk’ fills common sense boxes ‘math major – BS, MS and PhD’ another big minus – tied to ‘barakska’ aka Prez. Kool daddio.

Mike I care not what all those lib-tard bel;-air tech journalism grads do at Chandler’s marxist hole (think Bezos circa 1970) the Times has always loath USC but I have to say in real fairness Nikias hung himself as did the administration. Weren’;t for the Times we’d know nothing about those two scandals. BTW ever looked at their rigged ‘100 greatest moments in LA Sports History’ tome? No mention of that gutless cowardly con artist ‘woodie the peckerhead’ and Gene Bartow who manned up to face in 1976 (death threats) from that pig dawg Gilbert. ‘blank’ the leftist times….real journalism plebs worked for the H-E (11th and Broadway)…best collection of sports writers in the history of American sports journalism.

Prove Mckay was dirty. If not then shut your stinking pie hole. We know for a fact that Johnny, “They call me Cheetin'” Wooden was and still to this day the dirtiest coach of all time. His players admitted that they were given apts., cars, clothes, and have their girlfriends get free abortions. What is so freaking hilarious and hypocrtical is the fact that he took pride in the small details of tying their shoes the right way and putting on socks the correct way, but he was blind as a bat when he saw a kid drive a new car on campus. Shut up putz, you have no clue on what you are talking about.

Marv Goux was McKay’s Ticketmaster and I don’t need to prove, the sanctions proved that long ago.
As to your apparent reference to the great John Wooden (All-American as a coach and player) and best coach ever in his sport, he was as clean as his teams were good. If you want to know what his players thought of him, read Kareem’s latest book and educate yourself on the character of The Coach.

You are correct about Marv Goux, but that is not Mckay. Other players on Johnny “Cheetin'” Wooden’s team admitted to receiving gifts. yes, even Lou Alcindor received gifts from “Cheetin'” Wooden. He used to put quarters on top of the backboard and Alcindor would jump and snag them. He was able to keep the ones he snagged. So Wooden directly paid Alcindor. Johnny was and still is the dirtiest coach. He was such a snake that he turned the ncaa onto Tarkanian. Also, Gilbert was going to the Grand Jury to testify on what he did, but he had a heart attack and died on the steps of the Grand Jury. Once the “Cheater”, retired, ugly was slammed with a 3 year probation and Bartow had to put up with that. Typical, of the Rat Fink Wooden was. Don’t ever go down the road that Wooden was squeaky clean. Look up in the L.A. Times and search for Sam Gilbert. The AD director for the slime ball ruins was a good friend of the ncaa head leader. That is the reason that they were not investigated. One ncaa official said that if they had gone after The Cheeter and the ugliness of the ruins, they would have been suspended infefintely. Learn your facts before you spout off how The Cheeter was a saint. Dirty as they come and a Rat Fink to boot.

I know getting dominated in basketball has been painful for you and obviously left scars but players flocked to Wooden, he didn’t have to buy them.
He was the best and cleanest coach in his sport, ever.
Don’t make yourself sound stupid by denying that.
