Chris Steele, the five-star cornerback from St. John Bosco, who committed to USC over the summer, announced this morning he was no longer committed to USC. But there seems to be more to the story according to this report from USC247.com.

The first of many decommits to come. Wait until Helton, Martin and Callaway get their asses handed to them by Utah and Notre Dame and the flood of decommits will leave USC no choice but to get rid of these second rate interim clowns from the Trojans football program.

If USC didn’t recruit itself so well and wasn’t able to win games on talent alone, Kiffin, Sarkisian and Helton wouldn’t have lasted a year. Hell, none of them would have gotten the head coaching job in the first place. Those three clowns have had USC underachieving with the talent they’ve had handed to them.
