It’s official: Jack Sears will start against Arizona State.
The fact USC needed to wait until Friday shows they were willing to do almost anything to let JT Daniels start.
With Sears at QB will USC emphasize the running game? You know Arizona State will want to blitz like crazy.
I think Sears starting makes the game more interesting. Time for Clay Helton and Co. to coach up the freshman!
Life was so much easier when Helton could simply toss a football to Sam Darnold every week.

Torn here – love to see Sears exceed and win knocking ‘golden boy’ back to earth with his mustache but at the same time love a loss to move that clown Helton out the door.

To answer a question with a question. Is bad form, but ” with Seats will USC emphasize the running game? ” begs the question; What running game?
I am looking forward to a great game and maybe even I’ll watch the USC game too.
