USC sophomore guard Jordan Usher announced on twitter he was transferring to another school.
Usher averaged 8.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 24 minutes per game this season. He was suspended indefinitely before last night’s game against UC Davis.
With Kevin Porter sidelined five weeks with a bruised thigh, this is not what USC needed right before Pac-12 play started.
But luckily, the athletic director doesn’t care so it really doesn’t matter.
With the help of my family, mentors and the USC basketball program, an athletic transfer has been requested and granted.
My sincere gratitude for the opportunity and support provided. I wish my teammates and coaches a successful remaining conference schedule.

Why was he suspended, Mr. InsideUSC? I will say, that was a classy exit tweet. Best of luck to Jordan wherever he ends up. Nobody really cares much about college hoops in this town.

Sammy, DG/UCLA pulled the trigger when necessary; Swanny, on the other hand, does a solid imitation of a bump on a log.
Happy New Year Sammy.

Usher had his moments and I can’t see that he was that unhappy with playing time so it’s interesting as to what made this happen for him to transfer out.
Either way I wish him the best going forward.
