Kliff Kingsbury On Leaving USC

Kliff Kingsbury was on the Jim Rome show today and asked about USC fans who felt betrayed by him.

“It’s unfortunate obviously,” Kingsbury said. “It was never my intention. I turned down a bunch of opportunities to be a Trojan. This came up and was one of those once in a lifetime opportunities I couldn’t pass up.”

    2. Ditto, Pudly! [I have a strong suspicion that the Kingsbury saga is gonna wind up following the Johnny Depp script —big splash followed by, as the Kinks put it in “Sunny Afternoon”, “tales of drunkenness and cruelty” —at least that’s what I’m hoping for]…….

      1. Seems like KK to the Cards is a recipe for disaster. In KK’s offense, success mandates a mobile QB that can extend plays. Sadly (for KK, Rosen, and the Cards), the schnoz is a slow injury prone QB.

    ***Didn’t the Pig, miss 3 games due to a hurt foot – poor baby. Then, of course, the Swine aka “Pig Knuckles” was benched 2 games ’cause he was throwing really cool Int’s.

    The Swine finished up the Jets magical year, producing 3 points in his last 5 qtr’s + an O/T.

    I’m thinking the Jets owner is thinking I gave the ex-bozo Pig $30 million for pee wee, shit production.
