Former USC wide receiver Randal Grimes, who announced after the season he would transfer, is visiting Minnesota this weekend.
Why would Grimes, who is from Nevada, want to go to Minnesota? Maybe because of his high school teammates — safety Jordan Howden and 2019 recruit Cam Wiley — will play for the Gophers next season.
In any event, playing for P.J. Fleck sounds better than playing for Clay Helton.
