Thursday USC Practice Report

Jack Sears threw two touchdowns today: Amon-Ra St. Brown made a nice one-handed to score at the goal line. He also threw a TD pass to Michael Pittman. Sears also rushed for a score in a goal-line situation.

JT Daniels threw a 2-yard TD pass to to Erik Krommenhoek.

Left tackle Austin Jackson, who is USC’s best lineman, was not at practice. Right tackle Jalen McKenzie switched to left tackle and freshman Liam Jimmons played at right tackle.

Clay Helton does not speak on Thursdays.

    1. Scottie knows that Liam Jimmons is not a freshman. Jimmons is a redshirt jr. and is the guy who took out the WSU fan who came on the field in the 2017 game in Pullman.

Scottie must not even be reading those shotgun tweets. He must be just cutting and pasting into this blog.

      1. As bad as it was, at least this latest post was more informative and not “inside usc” than most of his posts

  2. Thank you Dear Lord for not having Helton speak. All I want are results on the field with SC scoring and winning. Put Sears in as qb.

  3. I said recently I wouldn’t mind quarterback by committee. If Sears is better on the quarterback sneak put him in. It doesn’t matter if the other team knows it as long as the ball gets into the end zone. In fact if the other team knows it’s coming and can’t stop it, so much the better. It demoralizes the other team while lifting our team. That’s how the Trojans of old would dominate.

  4. Jack Sears is the 4th string quarterback because he is inconsistent like Scotty’s reporting. The Air Raid quarterback from Washington State hardly every ran the ball. Its about getting the ball out fast and having a great short game thus, JT Daniels will prevail.
