What Do Max Nikias And Colin Cowherd Have In Common?

The Los Angeles Times has a story on how Max Nikias is still around USC. Here’s the item that stuck out to me:

“Nikias and his wife purchased a Manhattan Beach home in the fall from sports broadcaster Colin Cowherd for $4.1 million.”

So from one wealthy USC superfan to another. Now you know why I call it the USC South Bay mafia. Andy Enfield also lives in Manhattan Beach. Clay Helton is over in nearby Palos Verdes. Before Nikias became USC president he lived in Palos Verdes. At the end of the day, they are all part of the same monied club. Win or lose.

      1. Melody Patterson was the girlfriend of clueless Captain (Lynn) Parmenter. I think a young Clay Helton played even more clueless Corporal Randolph Agarn (“Captain, the rickets are gone but the crickets are back!”)……..

  1. It was bad enough having to see Nikias at football games. Now I have to see this son of a bitch in my neighborhood. Please stay out of Manhattan Beach.

  2. Earth to Wolf – if one has to live in the greater LA area ( a city in rapid decline due to homelessness, poop on the street and drugs much like San Francisco ) any one with half a brain and $ heads to the beach. The air is clean, most people civilized, and less of a chance of a drive by shooting. Unless of course, you live in W. Hollywood like you Wolf. What club are you in?

    1. Very strong point. Scott shouldn’t be writing or living in Los Angeles if he doesn’t belong to an exclusive club…..

  3. Layne Kiffin lived in Manhattan Beach. Manhattan Beach is an incorporated ‘country club’ city…the ‘de rigeur’ male attire on weekends is….long sleeve sweat T, 4-day growth of beard, sunglasses and a baseball cap on head driving round in a Ford Explorer or Acura MDX. Females…prone to weight gain and a lot of ‘blonde in a bottle’ hair….if you find yourself involved at Manhattan Beach USD look out for helicopter nutzos…the same per the porcine obergruppenfuher principal at American Martyrs. A sterotypical condescending USC alum sow.

  4. This post is embarrassing for you Scott…C’mon. Rich people tend to want to live in the nicer parts of town and not by the Frisky Kitty in Canoga Park or some other pit in the Valley.

  5. If I had money, I would move there too. I am more than satisfied and am grateful to God for what I do have.
