Leave it to the USC bookstore. It’s band director Art Bartner‘s 50th and final year at USC, so why not sell T-shirts? And mugs, etc. Anything to make money.

Hey, the guy put in 50 years and did a nice job. Why not a t-shirt? No one, and I mean no one, will remember Wolf after 50 years of being a blogger.

That’s great news and also the Lake Show just made a blockbuster trade to get Anthony Davis (not our fave SC star running back) , what a Saturday!

gt —for those interested in winning championships, the Davis news is a little better (Lynn Swann’s sage words not withstanding) than the Gill news…..

Don’t be envious Troll, just because you’ll never be honored for anything. You see — to be honored, you’d need to be honorable. See how that works Little Scotty?

I think a lot of people would be happy to get a dr. Bartner shirt, including me. I used to see him walking across campus yelling FIGHT ON to any student who waved hello. Plus the band was good.
Ugly shirt though, at minimum they should Ditch the white shirt, go with red, with the image of Bartner in white and ‘50’ in yellow.
Also he should not have one finger up on each hand. He flashed the fight on fingers more than any man who has ever lived. And maybe fill in his outline like a pro sports logo.
It’s not annoying that they’re capitalizing on a loved figure, it’s that they were lazy about it.

Since all the band plays are 60’s and 70’s tunes, put that on the tee shirt!

MG,
Does SC have the right to use Bartner’s image if he did not condone nor have it in his contractor? I say no. But I’m sure Bartner did, so it is water under the bridge

sometimes the commercialization cheapens the situation,or the effort, etc…

Whatever is in the works to honor Dr. Arthur C. Bartner is something he rightfully deserves.
I listened to alot of great bands and saw some great concerts when I was a college student but Dr. Bartner was the soundtrack of my college days.

I think Dr. Bartner should be inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame, too. He always did a fantastic job during the halftime shows.

Bartner is as big of an idiot as this clown that he had butcher the National Anthem…
