USC Notes: Don’t Ask How Tall A Recruit Is?

Just how tall is new USC commit Joey Wright?

I’ve seen him listed at 6-5, 6-6 and 6-7. I’m guessing he must be more around 6-5.

At least Rivals has him as a three star. 247 has him as a no star. But don’t worry, the USC-centric recruiting sites will pump him up to make you feel better.

  • USC guard Kevin Porter was not among the 20 players invited to the NBA Draft Green Room, according to ESPN.
  • Remember last week when USC beach volleyball coach Anna Collier “retired from collegiate coaching” after winning three national titles in eight years? Well, there are rumors within the athletic dept. that Collier wanted a raise and was denied. Last year, USC track coach Caryl Smith-Gilbert did not receive a raise after winning the NCAA title.
  • Former USC football player Jordan Cameron is expecting a baby with the ex-wife of Tiger Woods, Elin Nordegren, according to the New York Post. The pair live together in North Palm Beach, Fla.

    1. I might have little man syndrome (5’7″), but then I just head to the motherland ( Mexico) and I feels so mush better.

    2. I’m 46 years old, Brumby, and I am pretty comfortable in my own skin. I was joking about the short man syndrome, although I am short, I guess. Things like this never really fazed me and they don’t even faze me now. No apology needed, but I appreciate the sentiment.
