Rick Caruso must feel good about letting USC president Carol Folt do her job because he spent Tuesday night hosting the U.S. women’s soccer team on his $100 million yacht for a trip on the Hudson River.
I guess it’s better publicity for Caruso than hosting Olivia Jade, the daughter of Lori Loughlin, on his yacht as the College Admissions scandal broke.
But is the Richie Rich routine appropriate when you are chair of the Board of Trustees of a university that paid UC San Diego $50 million last week in damages and agreed to pay some of the victims of George Tyndall $215 million?
On top of that there are Caruso’s aspirations of becoming Mayor of Los Angeles. Maybe less yacht time, buddy.

Look at how fans dressed for a college football game.
The Wolverines led 20-7 entering the fourth quarter but Rex Johnston scored on a 66-yard run and Tom Maudlin threw a 36-yard TD pass to Hillard Hill that cut the lead to one point. But the Trojans were unsuccessful on the conversion attepmpt and suffered a close loss.
