USC Adds A Three-Star Lineman

Courtland Ford, a three-star offensive lineman from Cedar Hill, Texas, committed to USC.

I told you Clay Helton was dropping recruits and this is one of the reasons why.

Ford is still a three-star, however, so if Mike Bohn wants to crow about this, he can remember he is not at Cincinnati or Colorado anymore.

This is going to be the most-spinned recruiting class ever for USC.

  1. sc is now on a par with Colorado, although their basketball team is ranked higher than sc…Cincy is ranked higher in football last I saw…so 3 star is now ‘superlative’ job by hellton staff

        Other than the LSU- Alabama offers they are all about us, middle of the pack.
        So Helton swaps 3 stars, this is not a big deal.

        Ford 6’6″ 305lbs
        Dewark 6’7″ 300lbs
        Stephen 6’6″ 297lbs
        Monheim 6’5″ 280lbs (Is he really 6’5″ though?)
        Milek 6’6″ 295lbs
        Collier 6’7″ 300lbs

        Now they need attitude??

  3. 3* But he was offered by by Bama and LSU, but he would be in a class with each having mostly 4 and 5 star OL and DL, whereas we don’t. Take a look at the top of the recruiting rankings and it will look like there was a party for all the big time programs and SC wasn’t invited, nor anyone else in the P12. We’ve hit the point of irrelevancy.

  5. Other then a few skilled players, has any other top recruit developed under Clay Helton? See, so it makes no difference how decorated these players are coming in, because if they aren’t committed to developing themselves, then they become irrelevant. How many of those 4 star linebackers developed under Helton’s watch? They’re either injury prone, get in trouble with the law, transfer to another program, or get lost in the shuffle

  10. 3 star, 4 star, 5 star . . . 6′ – 5″, 6′ – 6″, 6′ – 7″ . . . What the f^#@k does it matter with CH running the program. Haven’t you learned that few, if any, will ever meet the full measure of their potential?

    1. true and concerning that 3 star q/b….how many 3, 4 or 5 were coached by an all pro q/b??? who promoted him to a dumbass head coach who has developed no one…incl Sam….he had to hire a pro for his pro day.

  11. In more relevant news, among the top 20 rated schools, the top 50 JC rated athletes are basically committed to SEC B10 B12 ACC and some Pac 12 like Oregon…usually Utah gets their linemen from JC…
    sc??? zilch nada zero…unless it is one of those super secret humdingers hellton has swindled…
