USC Morning Buzz: Public Appearance For Mike Bohn?

USC plays Long Beach State today at 3:30 p.m. at the Galen Center. This should be a natural appearance for Mike Bohn.

It would be Bohn’s first public appearance since he announced Clay Helton would return.

Will their be a fan reaction?

Or will fans to be too polite?

      1. This current USC team, that you and President Folt are catching up on, would be 10-2, if not 11-1, or better, if we had a coach, that didn’t practice it…Fight On!

      2. Not to mention the Washington loss, who’s now 7-5….losing to Cal, Stanford, Utah and Colorado, in the process, while triumphing against USC….

    2. So if jack couldn’t get a power 5 school to accept him, what’s that say? Maybe he was blackballed? He will be playing against lower level talent at SDSU so he should be the conference player of the year, no?

      1. You’re a dolt.
I do hope he does well. I just don’t believe, as you do that he was our best qb. Not then, not now. And he was a quitter. He quit on 84 other teammates.
As far as showing our true selves, why don’t you try and aply the old saying “to thy own self be true”? Where were all the outraged teammates when he was relegated to 4th string, then quit the team. That really worked out best for him. SDSU? Really?

      2. Pudly — Next season we’ll see what Jack can do. I hope he can adjust to Jeff Horton’s offense —for all his considerable talent it appears he didn’t adjust to Tee’s or Helton’s or Harrell’s……

      3. That’s the problem, the system is more important than the talent USC asked to come to the school…how many have the same SPARQ score as Odell Beckham lol? No one’s talking Heismans or players of the year, here.,.just moving the chains, on a consistent basis, even early in the year…cost USC….

      4. Jack Sears threw 1 interception all 2019 Fall Camp….no other quarterback threw less than 8…..Good luck, Jack! They convicted you improperly…go find your future….I’m rooting for you, always have…

      5. JT and Slovis are better. SPARQ is not a great measure for a QB. Yes, Jack can run. No, he can’t throw it as well as the others. That’s a problem for a position and offense. based around throwing the football.

Hope he does well, but he’s not with us any longer so…..bye.

      6. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from USC, in 3 1/2 years…that means he’s smarter than any qb on the roster, as well, which means he’ll never be gone lol….you don’t know much, that’s self evident….he was 20-28, with no interceptions in his only appearance……

Please. You’re just being mean and stupid.

Yes, full of proper perspective, which you lack, too often, even posting a video of a self admitted double murderer….the only reason you even stand here is: I called the folks off you, which, your friends were incapable of doing for months…you get yourself into these situations, because of foolish arrogance…reel yourself in, you’ll be better off…

      10. Ok Stephen. You’re right, he’s still on the team and with us forever. He’s also so awesome that he ended up at SDSU. He must have turned down the top 40 -50 schools.

Anybody with any knowledge of the NFL would take Marshall Faulk over OJ Simpson and/or Marcus Allen in a heartbeat.

    1. Bohn has stopped going to work, Ed. Carol begged him to go to the game today and he said, “Make me!”

  2. Being civil, a decent trait one should possess includes a modicum of politeness. One can still get ones point across, especially at an event like this, in a manner appropriate to the situation.

    1. Correct, Tim. There exist 101 better venues than today’s game to express disappointment in Bohn’s involvement in a bewildering decision. We’re unhappy with Bohn…..not at war with him.

  3. On the Jack Sears story I haven’t read everything, but I am surprised nobody has made a comment about seeing Sears next season on whatever crap bowl Helton drags us to in 2020. 2023 can’t get here soon enough.
