USC is making Fresno State a fairly regular non-conference opponent. It just isn’t announcing it.
Fresno State announced this morning that it will play at the Coliseum in 2028 for an eye-catching $1.75 million guarantee. The Trojans and Bulldogs will also play in 2022 and 2026 at the Coliseum.
If USC was the home team for 2028, why didn’t it announce the game? We all know why.

You cannot claim a true State Championship if you don’t play at least one actual state school. Cal and Ucla are both private schools. By 2028 everyone hopes the Helton effect will be a painful memory.

The Nevada Wolf Pack have added Texas State, Incarnate Word, and USC to their future football schedules, the school announced last summer…..USC is in good company

That’s what I’m talkin’ about. Now that Lopes is gone, there’s no reason to not come out and say, “Sorry, Davis, but we’re cancelling this game.” We can’t leave Notre Dame and ucla as the only ones left. That does not sit well. If only Bohn would bone-up.
