Former USC QB Carson Palmer was one of 11 players selected for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.
It was a pretty easy choice given Palmer won the Heisman Trophy.
Other USC players on the ballot who did not make it were linebacker Jack Del Rio and offensive lineman Jeff Bregel.
This is where I like to point out some inconsistencies: Del Rio is in the USC Hall of Fame. Bregel is not. So if Bregel got in the College Football Hall of Fame, it would be embarrassing to USC.
It’s already a poor look for USC because offensive lineman Marvin Powell is in the College Football Hall of Fame but not in the USC Hall of Fame.
And frankly, Del Rio should be nowhere near the ballot until former USC linebacker Chris Claiborne gets inducted.
