    1. This was a another good test. USC keeps coming through. I agree with Pudly that the away game against Colorado is gonna tells us a lot…..

      1. We haven’t won their with Enfield and usually just look like pretenders when we play at Colorado. For USC basketball a road game at Oregon or Colorado has been where we get punched in the mouth and beating Colorado would be something to get excited and take them even more serious.

    1. “For the first time since 2014, USC ‘men’s volleyball’ defeats UCLA in Pauley Pavilion! Dear Pisley, treat yourself to a penis colada on my tab.

#All-Time Volleyball record: UCLA 90 vs USC 42. Call me when bozos get close.

  1. USC is ranked #7 in the power rankings are are ranked #16 in CBS updated top 25 from a two days ago. We’re slowly climbing without making ourselves a known target.

      1. You maybe right Mike since UCLA and Oregon have taken a step back lately. We’re definitely not gonna sneak up on anyone if we win the conference or tournament heading into the NCAA Tournament. I haven’t watched much basketball other than SC’s games but it doesn’t look like there are many teams dominating like Kansas or Kentucky. Gonzaga and Baylor could be teams but we match up with some of the teams that are tall and play defense. We match up against a lot of teams because our size. I would take SC over Michigan and Ohio State on a neutral court right now but we have a lot of basketball left and hope we continue getting better the rest of the way and haven’t hit our peak just yet.

      2. Yes, Sam. I think we can do things nobody dreamed about before the season…. we just need to ignore the hype that starts to build….and stay healthy.

  2. Last 3 weeks have Evan Mobley the #2 pick in the mock NBA drafts. Cunningham slipped the last two weeks where they think Evan could be the top pick since there is a long time til the draft but Cunningham is still the guy at the moment. I don’t know how. Evan Mobley is the next Kevin Garnett or Anthony Davis. Mark my words.

  3. USC has beaten nobody of merit to this point. Lost to Colorado
at home, lost to UConn on a neutral site with overtime wins
against Cal Baptist and Riverside both at Galen. They have not played Oregon yet. Agree looking better now. FT shooting will
cost them eventually in the tourney.

      1. That is horseshit . It is the oldest con in sports connecting one
team to another by opponents results. Head to head is what matters most. Oregon St. beat the Trojans so they should be
ranked in the top 20. Don’t be an asshole all your life.

      2. They’re as good as any team in the two leagues. You can determine a semblance of power rankings by comparative scores and point differentials, among others.

      3. And, from what I’ve seen of college basketball this year, they’re not the top two leagues, by any stretch. The Big 12 and Big Ten are, so I’m ok with saying USC is as good as any team in the PAC 12 or SEC, this year.

  4. Goodwin should be starting over Issiah Mobley who is a liability on offense and at the free throw line. Goodwin, is a better all around player, but I think we all know why Mobley starts. If we can sweep the Arizona schools this weekend we have a good shot of winning the title as long as we split the Utah and Colorado series, and beat Stanford at home. Still alot of games to go including the make up games with the Oregon Ducks.

    1. Ever so true. There’s plenty of time for Andyain’twinning to screw things up. I mean how many times can the bozo’s go to the fake CV-19 positive test reschedule.

      Happy Valentine MG.

      1. And yet we’ve played more games this season than the sow and have 1 more conference scheduled than sow does…
To an impartial observer one might think it’s sow who’s ducking games….but then you’re neither impartial, reasonable or sane.

  5. I get the feeling scottie drags his feet when reporting SC wins again…but has the HEADLINE ready and waiting for, ‘thanks enfield’ …and then the assault begins. No matter what one thinks, the record speaks for itself. They must have a strong bench, he is able to substitute frequently, and that points to coaching. They are still somewhat of a hot/cold shooting team.

    1. Before the regular season ends this team is gonna get in a game where they have to prove they can make the shots when it matters (as in ‘when they’re down by 5 with a minute and a half left’)……

  6. Imagine how good this USC basketball team would have been with Evan Mobley at Center, Okongwu at Power forward, Peterson/Issiah Mobley at the other forward, Porter at the Wing, and Taj Eddy at the point. I can’t blame Okongwu and Porter for leaving early, and taking the money now, but were both of them really ready for the NBA, and as a result their long term development has been slowed down a bit with less playing time in the NBA. Hats off and a big salute for Assistant Coach Jason Hart who is recruiting some real talent to USC, and let’s hope they give him a huge raise as some big programs will now be going after him.

  7. and a great JC power forward KJ Johnson coming in next year. Probably a Top 5 JC player…….very similar body, and game with former UNLV/NBA player Larry Johnson, and a clone of Charles Barkley.
