UCLA women’s swimming beat USC in a dual meet today for the first time in 13 years.
- Texas coach Steve Sarkisian got a commitment from five-star QB Maalik Murphy from Serra of Gardena. Alabama and UCLA were the other finalists.
- USC was not listed as one of the top 16 seeds by the NCAA selection if the tournament started today. No Pac-12 teams made it.
“(USC) was certainly a team that was in a lot of conversations,” selection committee chairperson Mitch Barnhart said.
- CBS basketball guru Jerry Palm currently has USC as a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
- Tomorrow I am going to write about something I find to be completely unbelievable by a USC coach. Stay tuned.
Jerry Palm probably shouldn’t be called a guru. A guru is a somebody who gets it right more than he gets it wrong.

The new coaches that Bohn selected for women Swimming
and Volleyball have been duds so far into their seasons.
Another phony country wide search by the Athletic Dept. One Kellar ( VB ) comes over from Fucla as an assistant.

First football. Then water polo, volleyball and now swimming. As Vince Lombardi once said “What the hell is going on around here”!
