Kansas starting forward Jalen Wilson did not travel to Indianapolis for the NCAA Tournament and will probably miss the Jayhawks’ first two games.
Kansas had a player test positive for COVID-19 on Friday and Coach Bill Self said the player would likely would be out for the first two rounds and would rejoin the Jayhawks, “if we’re fortunate enough to advance.”
Wilson, who is 6-8, averages 12.1 and 8.2 rebounds. He has been the Jayhawks’ best rebounder and leads the team with nine double-doubles.
We can NEVER EVER refer to an opposing player being out as “catching a break.” That is not the way a true fan EVER looks at a situation like this….

Cheating St. Francis was in the receiving end of a bunch of favorable calls by the corrupt referees.

Jayhawks only have 4 forwards on the roster, so now they are down to 3. Really a guard-heavy team.

Watch the last half of the video above, NASA claims to have a “space debris catcher” that retrieves old satellites and space junk. They show how it works with CGI and say it’s fully operational.

Anyway , you need more providence before you prove to anyone that you’ve done anything other than show there’s a sucker (or blower) born every minute.
Maybe some paranormal videos would convince me.

I forgot my side hurts… Do you think it’s a side effect of the Covid vacine?

Kansas has a 6’10” center, McCormack, who missed their last game against Oklahoma due to Covid. He’s been having his best year. I would think his absence would benefit USC. Kansas beat Oklahoma without him. They play good defense, and have an improved offense. Bill Self will have to navigate a tremendous amount if they are to win, but I’ve noticed they certainly have personnel.

In the Kansas/Baylor game on February 27th, McCormack was the best player on the floor, rather surprising, scoring 20 points to lead both squads. Marcus Garrett is Kansas’ 6’5” senior guard, also having a great year. They outrebounded Baylor, 48-28, defeating #1 seed Baylor by 14 points….now COVID

Correction: defeated Baylor by “13” points.

Well if this was the PAC 12 they’d give them a pass and allow them to back into the final four, but hey they can’t all be the conference of bogus champions.

6’5” junior Ochai Agbaji is Kansas’ other guard. He’s having his best year also, averaging 14 ppg. So, both Kansas’ guards are 6’5” juniors who can play and have experience.

Based on the inconsistency of this team I barely hoping for a first round win over Wichita State or Drake. This team is simply not predictable based on the coaching staff team preparation, poor free throw shooting, and outside shooting which comes and goes. Every game in the NCAA tournament is a toss up, and if you don’t come to play you get beat it’s that simple. Don’t count any new chickens with this team until they hatch playing Kansas is a second step we must overcome the first step on Saturday then think about Kansas if that happens.
I am not so sure the Pac 12 talent is as good as people think after watching some of the conference tournaments this year. If the NBA draft predictors win college basketball games then based on the last two to three years we would have at least made the Sweet 16 which did not happen. Glad you guys are so confident in this team I am not, but I am extremely hopeful.

Scooter,
Who says SC will beat either Drake or Whicta St? If there free throws suck, as usual, SC could lose. SC needs to get hot and stay hot for them to go anywhere this time.
