Five-star defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau committed to Ohio State today over USC, Oregon and Washington.
He is rated the No. 3-ranked player in the nation by 247Sports and No. 6 by Rivals. He is also a Class of 2021 prospect who waited until the last minute to commit, so he will be with the Buckeyes this season.
Top West Coast Polynesian players used to be an SC lock, we get it. We need a new HC, we get it. It’s so old by now, and only the people whose azzholes now have radiation poisoning from pumping sunshine don’t get it. But change isn’t happening soon, that’s just how it is. Happy 4th!

Rey Maualuga was reported as his uncle while JT’s first ever college game to watch live in person was USC at Washington St that had R Maualuga, Cushing, C. Mathews, etc.
USC was his favorite team supposedly growing up. Maualuga and is a pastor with JT’S great-grandfather in ventura County. He has family in the area.
All that said I think the deal breaker was and always will be at the end of the day is Clay Helton.
Oh well at least he’s not at Oregon or UW.

The Butteyes keep getting richer, I wonder if he got sick on the helicopter? Whatever ….
Until we get a real coach and a more traditional offense, we would have to schedule Ohio State to play them. It tough being a has been and not being able to feel like we aren’t WSU south.

I know you meant that as an insult, Me —- (but) imagine Helton doing his best Homer Simpson voice, saying “Washington State South. Mmmmmmm”

The most important commit today was Kelvin Banks……no way Helton beats Oregon the next three years.

We’ve got two 5* and three 4* on our defensive line, if we get Miller we should be fine.

That would happen immediately if Helton decided to step down but we aren’t so lucky of such a thing.

Unfortunately with the current coaching situation, it’s a no-brainer for a blue chip recruit to decide on a real contender like Ohio St over USC…what does it take to dump Helton and his staff and hire a proven successful head coach???

#July5th and Carol Folt is still an idiot and the #USC Board of Trustees still suck. #FightOnForOlSC FightOnSC✌️#retweet

Pffft … enough of the continual individual recruiting failures … Clay Helton wished for his full contract buy-out after 2019, but cheap-ass Carol Folt would not entertain such fiscal irresponsibility as eating the rest of a remaining 4-year contract. Despite major donors willingness to step up on this. Carol Folt you are stupid and unqualified to be President at USC.

Carol Folt keep blithely tweeting away about climate change and social justice et al … just know that you are effing hated by USC alumni. I will do an Irish jig the day you are forced out of USC✌️USC Board of Trustees, you suck!

You left out the part out about the roaming gnome Folt needing a CT scan; to get her head examined for brain damage. For all the stupid decisions she’s made since she’s been USC President. NC showed her the door after 1 year for her nonsense of removing statues to stir shyt up and inept leadership. USC needs to repeat history and do the same. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass Folt!

I dont think anyone believed USC would land JT. While there have been many improvements in recruiting, we need to ask the question, what would a top notch HC be able to do with USC’s legacy?
We all know that the answer is that USC would be #1 – #3 every single year in recruiting.

Pretty sure he was in USC’s pocket until he found this message board.

Actually, he was 100% committed until a brief “mix up” in the Men’s Room with Clay…

Lol if he didn’t come to USC because of this message board then he wasn’t USC material to begin with. Too fragile mentally. Although they could’ve offered him more money to stay, to put up with Scotties criticism!

Would be interesting to hear why he did not choose USC. I think the answer is Mike Bohn, and Clay Helton. Bohn, needs to figure out that the top recruits want to compete for a National Championship not a Pac 12 South Championship. Winning is the key ingredient recruits are looking for you can forget all the other recruiting resources Bohn is bringing in. Ohio State, has a recent history of winning big time in the last 5 years. This kid was probably two years old when USC last competed for a national title. As I stated before kids want to play for a program that is competing for national championships now, and history means very little to them.

Coulda sworn we have 2 (two) other 5* recruits already committed and one from last yr who by many accounts was THE TOP player in the country. Are they to blame for that too?
