Four-star tight end Keyan Burnett from Servite sent out a tweet Saturday night that sounded like he decommitted.
And now Burnett has confirmed he decommitted to TrojanSports.com.
Of course, the non-shocking thing in all of this is that a tight end would decommit from Graham Harrell’s Air Raid offense.
I didn’t like the part where Keyan said ‘to be honest, the thought of Clay and Harrell coaching me made me puke.’

During the era of the Three Stooges (Kiffin, Sarkisian and Helton) those three clowns had no use for a TE…none of them knew how to utilize the position the way Norm Chow did.

This isn’t 7 on 7. It’s 5 on 5 with a jump ball QB. If that’s the game we’re the best at it. Thankfully, we’re still in the P12.

Remember that time we signed two top 20 tight ends in the country and one of them was a top 3 guy? It really wasn’t that long ago. Pretty sure we’re still able to get guys at that spot.

Cary Angeline and Tyler Petite. They were both really good but we let Angeline transfer after he was said to be killing the defense in practices because he still didn’t get any playing time. Petite had promise but they don’t use TE’s and it’s why we’ve lost many games.

Pudly, I was actually think Trigg and McCree. Looks like we’ve done it two years in a row.
Kind of shoots down the whole “tight ends won’t come here” theory.

A lot of “theories” here get shot down once people actually look at facts. The notion that we don’t throw to tight ends is thrown about a lot, but in reality Drake could’ve/should’ve been looked at as fulfilling that role of big inside receiver.
Can’t wait to see both Trigg and McCree get on the field.

Mike if online Wolf could take the time to fix the problem of having the option at all times to reply/comment to anyone you wish to.
I don’t know how someone can continue a functioning site with these mistakes. Or pay someone who said “all done!” LOL

I remember. The fact we didn’t throw to them in games probably hurt us in subsequent recruiting….

Graham Harrell is just bad news. Maybe a decent QB coach, but bad news as a leader and bad news as a strategic mind.
The comment he made about Helton, while it might be true, just simply is not helping to make this a stronger team. If he has a problem with Helton, it should be addressed behind closed doors with Helton.
I assume that even with all the things they have to sell at SC, you cant hide the internal tensions from recruits. On the defensive side of the ball they have solid position coaches and TO to tell them everything is OK. On the offensive side of the ball, GH can tell QBs that his offense is all about the QB, but otherwise, why would the best go to SC?
If SC doesnt win 10 games this season and gets stomped by any of our rivals, recruiting could just fall apart. The talent at SC should make it win nearly every game in the schedule. If not, there will finally be change.

It takes a special kind of stupid for a coordinator to complain about the head coach in front of the players.

We don’t need no stinking recruiting……we’ll just get a bunch of retread guys let go by other teams and win the pac 12……at a minimum.
I wonder why they were let go…..could it be they are not that good. Nah…..Helton is just a better coach. He recognizes when a guy needs some special loving.
As far as the guys that left us to go elsewhere…..they stink….could’nt play a darn…..slow…..not motivated……wierd……not football players.
So the ones that come are 5 star or better…..and the ones that leave should be working at McDonalds……see a problem.

The players we picked up from Texas and elsewhere weren’t “let go.” College football isn’t identical to the NFL quite yet.

In other news, Wednesday, July 7th is the deadline for basketball players who declared for draft and did not hire an agent make their official decision:
Latest Per Caesars Sportsbook:
Isiah Mobley returning to USC – 1 to 2
Johnny Juzang returning to UCLA – 2 to 1
You heard it hear first – Isiah will be returning but the Tarzana kid, Johnny Juzang will not return to Westwood Tech
Thanks Enfield!!

I thought IM was playing well at the NBA combine.
I didn’t follow up after the first few days…
Did I. Mobley later fall apart at the combine?
Juzang? I thought he was stinking it up at the combine?

I didn’t see anything that led me to believe Isaiah faltered at the combine or interviews… but with the NIL money available, not sure the “D” league is as attractive as before.

I. Mobley had a great combine. He was in the conversation for biggest surprise.

Based on JJ’s NBA combine results, he’d be foolish not to stay another year at UCLA and improve his deficiencies. Pro BB is a harsh business.

These days these kids believe in themselves a little more than they should and disregard the scouts who say they’ll be late 2nd round or just not high and ultimately blow their time to shine and get better for the decision.

Hope so. I think he would be making a mistake by leaving because he needs to be more aggressive from start to finish inside but also outside on the perimeter like he did against Kansas. Show he can be “the guy” hopefully and it should build big confidence that he will need in the league.
