UCLA Wins Crosstown Cup

UCLA has won the Crosstown Cup in the head-to-head competition of all sports with USC, 100-90.

I still prefer to call it the Lexus Gauntlet. The funny thing now is the school that wins seems to be the only one to announce anything.

UCLA has won it for the third time in five years. The football win proved to be a difference maker because it’s worth 10 points and there’s only one game so you can’t split the results.

I guess this can be something for Coach Bohn to work on

  1. And Dumblebohn clapped his hands together. Simultaneously the banners changed to baby blue and maize. “Slumberin, wind the house cup,” Dumblebohn announced. Harry Helton was expelled

  2. Note to Owns (rent) – I assume that you’re going to plant your flag on the top of the mountain on this one.But before you do, check yourself on the “Crumbling Mausoleum” stuff that you so often try to peddle. The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has undergone a 131 million dollar restoration. It’s plush throughout – not like the rented Rosebowl. The only thing I want to hear from you is, “Thank you sir! May I have another!?” Have a nice day.

      1. trojan1967,

what makes matters worse is that as always, a socialist commie program like ugly did not put one dime into rehabbing the Rose Bowl. The City of Pasadena resident’s are paying for it. ugly can shove it.

      2. For ucla fans, it would be a twofer. When the bruins are trailing by 4 TDs, they can watch the renovation crew for entertainment and take their mind off the game.

  4. 67 THAT WAS FUNNY. With so few Bruin fans at the rented Rose Bowl each game they could do renovation very easily so that is a true statement.. If there was fire in the Rose Bowl their would be no need to call 911 since no one is at the games.

      1. Everyone knew it —except ‘Give-Me-The-Easy-Way-Out’ Carol —she said she stood in solidarity with the players —cuz once again —she didn’t know what the fuck she was talking about and couldn’t see around the corner…..

  5. WHOOPS the Aggies … Deion Sanders responded strongly to Saban’s comments Wednesday night, tweeting: “You best believe I will address that LIE Coach SABAN told tomorrow. I was & awakened by my son @ShedeurSanders that sent me the article stating that WE PAYED @TravisHunterJr a Million to play at @GoJSUTigersFB! We as a PEOPLE don’t have to pay our PEOPLE to play with our PEOPLE.” AF-LAC!!!

    1. Did Kamala write that last sentence? Her latest was as funny as the rest of them have been.

Just 3 days ago on the “climate crisis”: “Our world is more interconnected and interdependent. That is especially true when it comes to the climate crisis, which is why we will WORK TOGETHER, and continue to WORK TOGETHER, to address these issues, to tackle these challenges, and to WORK TOGETHER as we continue to WORK operating from the new norms, rules, and agreements, that we will convene to WORK TOGETHER on to galvanize global action. With that I thank you all. This is a matter of urgent priority for all of us and I know we will WORK on this TOGETHER.”

Yes, 80M fools voted for this! LMAO

      1. The number of Kamala’s staff who have quit since January 2021 exceeds the average paying bruin attendance at the RB last year.

      2. Remember what common sense folks were telling voters who were worried about the 50% chance that, if you voted for Biden, Kamala would be elevated to President due to Biden’s age? “If you vote for Biden there’s a 100% chance that Biden will be elevated to President.” And yet…people voted for the guy they saw introduce his sister as his wife during the campaign….and then refer to himself as Mrs. Biden.

        P. S.
Time to move on from bruins winning the fucking cup. I’ll take an article on anything else….even another scandal.

    1. Bill Handel also endorsing Caruso!

Either of you legal eagles ever listen to his call in show, Handel On The Law – Marginal Legal Advice? It’s a hoot! One of my favorite calls ever:

Caller: “So when my dad dies, I’ll get his social security check, right?”
Handel: “No, that’s not the way it works.”
Caller: “Well, then what’s my inheritance?!!”

Yes, they are among us. (As if we didn’t know that from the last election and current polls showing him with a 25% approval rating. Who could possibly be dumb enough to approve of his leadership?!)

  6. Odds & Ends:

Addison left Texas without committing, so that is good for SC, but still no assurance he is coming. You would think he has exhausted his preferred choices, and is now ready to make a final choice.

Caruso effectively bought the L.A. mayor office. Not sure that is a good thing, but he apparently is a pretty good guy inasmuch as he donated a great deal of money to the school that my wife worked at as a psychologist.

I was curious as to why Wiley and Dodgers’ star Justin Turner looked so happy together when Wiley threw out the first pitch the other day– turns out Justin is a very big SC fan. Smart boy.

You are familiar with the effective Arizona cheer– UofA, UofA, UofA
I wish SC fans would start a similar cheer of U-S-C, U-S-C, U-S-C

Did you see where Alabama’s Satan, I mean Saban, lambasted Texas A&M for buying all their players?– He claims Alabama did not buy a single one of his players. Hmmmm.

    1. Yes. Charles posted an ESPN article about it above.

I’m disappointed in Saban. He’d never really done anything for me to dislike him, other than win all the time.
