USC Goes Last At Pac-12 Media Day

An awkward Pac-12 media will take place Friday in Los Angeles. Awkward because it’s the first gathering of administrators, coaches and players since USC and UCLA joined the Big Ten. And the media will be there to ask a lot of questions.

Here is the schedule: Interestingly, USC goes last and it will all be streamed on the Pac-12 website.

    1. words to live by. literally. I’m guessing Kliavkoff will politely duck questions about the pac-12, and won’t say anything of substance beyond a prepared statement.

      1. Not to get into the Ukraine, but I’d like to think that our $50 billion investment there accomplished more than it has. We chose an ineffective strategy.

      2. Speaking of Biden, here is one of his gaffes from earlier this year. It literally is breathtaking just how gone he is.

      3. Yes, 67. But don’t forget about the insurance policy that was inserted, just to be sure no one shoves him out too quickly.

And this is one of their 2024 frontrunners! LMAO

      4. Well, if memory serves, 67, it was Kamala herself who said during the debates that Joe was the best person to lead this country, in its efforts to improve race relations!!

        Or not.

      5. My wife won’t let me show her this stuff anymore —she says it’s not funny.
Like millions of voters she’s waiting for the midterms. A lot of people think that’s gonna bring stability. I don’t. Trust the repub mainstreamers to sit back and relax once they take control.

      6. My wife laughs her ass off, but primarily at anyone who actually thought it would go differently.

She’s much smarter. As most on this board, she knew this is exactly how it would go.

Unfortunately, you’re probably right about the time they’ll spend on payback, rather than fixing everything that is currently being screwed up.

      1. I’ve been told the Pac 12 is going by probable 2022 records —in ascending order until the media gets to USC……

      2. owns, without USC, the gutties weren’t going anywhere outside the pac-12. And chip can’t even beat a .500 team in the pac-12. Chippie will melt like his ice cream cup left in the sun. Last time a Riley-coached team played a chip-coached team, it was 34-0 halfway through the second quarter. BTW, what is the all-time ding-ding record?

So soon you forget 4-8. Memory is such a bitch as you get on in years.
People complain about not having a coach and getting beat. Whose fault was that? Blaming others seems to be taken to a fine art.
Don’t like the president of the school.
Don’t like the Coach. Or the one before or the one before that.
Don’t like the AD or the one before that or the one before that.
Don’t like the PAC -12. Or any of the other teams. That’s alright because the feeling was mutual. For 50yrs+.
JHC, WTF does anyone around here like?

      3. 75, at least I can count beyond 3. I guess at Cal that is too much of a challenge. Kind embarrassing for you guys, but even Clay Helton had a winning record against Cal.

Why do I need to count past 3?
I know why youz guys are hittin the road. Only 5-5 against Oregon the last ten years.

Afraid to compete. Being run out by the Ducks.
        Dreaming of Rutgers? Don’t lie.

  1. I like the way Riley’s chosen reps for media day are players who weren’t part of the Helton era….

      2. I miss Scott’s close-up photo of Helton—mouth open, eyes widened & clearly terror-struck on the sidelines — you don’t get to see many coaches that obviously & openly over their head during games —but Clay never tried to hide that fact…

  2. Scooter,

Please humor me, what happens if the Pac 12 kicks a## this year by hainv Sc play in the national championship game and winning the next two years. Do they stay in the Pac 12 and demand more money and what happens if the Pac 12 pays up on the stipulation that SC and ruinville stay. What then?

    1. That ain’t gonna happen.

Youz fine folks have two more Bay Area Weekenders and then it’s ALL THE WAY PISCATAWAY . In Nov. Enjoy. Mrs. Helton is ready salivating for martinis in Manhattan. I wonder if they taste different on the east coast? Hmmmm…..
