USC Basketball Recruiting Heats Up

Arrinten Page, a four-star power forward from Marietta, Ga., has committed to USC. Page (6-9, 225) chose USC over Cincinnati, Indiana, Miami and Missouri.

Now here is where things get interesting. Page’s teammate at Wheeler High School is five-star point guard Isaiah Collier, who will announce his commitment on November 16. Collier is considering USC, Cincinnati, Michigan and UCLA.

Last week, USC got a commitment from four-star guard Silas Demary Jr.

      1. And allow me to pile-on here Georgie as I know the alive Sam Gilbert would be sweating out sula’s biggest SC fear while he might be thinking to himself, “Hate to admit it, but SC may one day pass us up in recruiting and so there goes that big popsicle in the sky. If only I was there now I could straighten things out but since I’ve been gone (actually dead for over 10-years now) my savings got reduced in half but a million is still worth a million, right,
and I got millions tucked away under my pillow– I argued, but God wouldn’t let me bring the money in

    1. Tebowobama your going to diss on USC basketball recruiting to. With us moving to the BIG we will further increase our national footprint in the midwest and east regions. If Collier signs and our center from this year recruiting class, we will have a strong team if everyone plays to their potential. Hopefully the center will be a medical redshirt and play with Collier That is a potential Final 4 or at least elite. Enfield is doing fine job recruiting he just needs a solid pt guard who can run the offense and make everyone better.

  1. Hmmm. Moving to the Big 10 apparently has a lot of potential upside for attracting prospects that might not have considered SC otherwise. Hey, why not go to SC, 72 degrees and sunny, song girls, the beach, great academic programs if you’re going to be in the Big Ten. What’s not to like? These prospects aren’t dumb.

  2. Wow- this new USC recruit Arrinten Page reminds me of Ron “Spoon” Riley. For those of you who do not remember Ron was a terrific 6’9 center who was a human eraser on the boards with quick feet, and a human eraser on the boards. Ron, was the center on the greatest USC Basketball team ever with Westphal, Layton, Mackey, Schrobilgen.

Enfield, is building something great —–if we get Issiah Collier, the nation’s no. 1 player and teammate of Page – THINK FINAL FOUR TROJAN BASKETBALL FANS.
