USC Offers Transfer Linebacker

USC has offered Coastal Carolina outside linebacker Josaiah Stewart. He also has an offer from Michigan. Stewart was the preseason Defensive Player of the Year in the Sun Belt Conference this year and a Freshman All-American last season.

USC has not yet offered Arizona wide receiver Dorian Singer, who has offers from Oregon, Oklahoma, Penn State, Mississippi State, Miami, Utah, Colorado, Arizona State, Arkansas and Kansas.

  • Stanford linebacker Levani Damuni, who led the Cardinal in tackles the past 2 years, has transferred to Utah.

  1. there are so many players to offer in the portal. we could use 2 or 3 d-line, 1 or 2 linebacker, 1 cb and maybe 1 safety. on offense, we really need 2 o-line and will want to pick up one receiver and one running back. those are probably the minimums we need.

    so many players still on the roster who have zero chance of contributing to the team wish they could just push them out of the program. it is going to take another 1-2 years to clear out the remainder of the Helton dead wood.

  8. John Canzano: I recently wrote a column about former five-star quaterback JT Daniels, who was touring colleges last spring, looking for a new team. He’d already suited up at USC and Georgia. When Daniels showed up at Oregon State during spring practice, it became known that he was not only looking for playing time, but also a personal chef, a four-bedroom rental home and a six-figure endorsement as part of the deal.

  9. Kind of wondering if we’ll see Baker Mayfield tomorrow evening against the Raiders at SOFI? Better yet is Les Snead’s move any different than the stunt NYJ GM Joe Douglas pulled in 2012 acquiring Tim Tebow?
