The USC Sunday Supplement

Some USC tailbacks rarely get mentioned after their careers are over.

Here is Lou Harris in action against Stanford in 1970.

Harris gained 801 yards in 167 carries during his best season in 1971. He averaged 5.0 yards per carry in his USC career.

After USC, he played five seasons in the Canadian Football League, rushing for 1,239 yards in 1974 with the British Columbia Lions.

Harris came to USC from Sacramento City College.

No. 33 in the picture is fullback Charlie Evans.

  1. Beating a 49ers team without a QB isn’t much of an accomplishment for the Eagles [btw, the 49ers 4th string QB sucks as bad as you can suck]….

They don’t come any dumber than the Village Idiot! No wonder all you can do is hang out on a USC blog and dream of being in any way associated with my beloved alma mater. So sad.

      8. Slo troll lacks the football IQ to comprehend the finer points of the game. Purdy was struggling to check down on his reads due to his inexperience and aggressive pass rush.

Slo was so confused, he went out and painted over the graffiti on his outhouse.

  5. (a rebuttal to slo trolls so-called facts, the dude is a mental midget)

slo troll: “I can’t debate my way out of a bag”

It’s about time you realize you’re limited. I would have posted this earlier but I was down on the world-famous strip having a great time, while you’re sitting in a single wide, marinating in a soiled diaper.

Let me debunk all your BS LIES……3..2..1..

    – No other President insisted on calling the other side the biggest domestic threat this nation is facing

Fact check: National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism review was rooted in an expert assessment of the domestic terrorism threat provided by the intelligence and law enforcement communities. An unclassified summary of that assessment was released in March so the public could see the key findings. It found that the two most lethal elements of today’s domestic terrorism threat are (1) racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists who advocate for the superiority of the white race and (2) anti-government or anti-authority violent extremists, such as militia violent extremists. The real threat is from white extremists and militia groups from the far-right who are aligned with conservative Republican ideology.

    – No other President weaponized the DOJ the way this one has.

Fact check: If the White House was genuinely looking to “weaponize” the DOJ to improve their chances in 2024, or even 2022, this could well go down as the face-palm at Palm Beach. So I’m willing to take the White House at their word that President Biden was not a party to the law-enforcement hit on his old 2020 rival, or at least not behind it. Maybe this was in fact the action of the Justice Department and FBI alone, “personally approved” by Merrick Garland. That doesn’t mean that it was the right or righteous call, or that Democrats inside the DOJ aren’t acting out of personal animus. That doesn’t mean that it was the wrong call. It does mean that ultimate transparency is in order.

    – No other President has attempted to create a Disinformation Governance Board to shut down anyone who doesn’t agree with his side.

Fact check: The board was created to study best practices in combating the harmful effects of disinformation and to help DHS counter viral lies and propaganda that could threaten domestic security. Neither the Board nor Jankowicz(appointed to lead the Board) had any power or ability to declare what is true or false, compel Internet providers, social media platforms, or public schools to take action against certain types of speech. In fact, the board itself had no power or authority to make any operational decisions

    – No other President banned the media from the border.

Fact check: The Department of Homeland Security said the “facilities” were closed to journalists because of privacy and Covid-19 precautions. No mention of the “border ” having “no access”. Mayorkas told CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union” Sunday show, “We are in the midst of a pandemic. We are dealing with crowded Border Patrol facilities. We are focused on our operations and the needs of the children and at the same time we are working to provide access to those Border Patrol facilities when we can do so in a safe manner.

-“They’re doing everything they can to push us towards a civil war and will blame the other side if & when it happens”

Spoken like a true far-right nut-job. What the fuck is wrong with you talking like that. You sound like an uneducated one-tooth redneck…..The reality is, you would turn and run in the opposite direction if anything remotely took place as you described.

    4. Gabby? Every “fact” you present as argument is the position of US government unelected agencies. In the past many would trust what these agencies say. But after Vietnam, the Kennedy assassination, Weapons of Mass destruction in Iraq, Russian election interference and Trump is a Russian asset, most intelligent people don’t believe what the government has to say anymore. We instead make our own conclusions based on what we observe past and present. You reference disinformation many times. Our government is one of the biggest sources of disinformation. I would use the word propaganda, but why don’t we just say marketing messaging. The US government, media, big corporations, and tech platforms all propagate, amplify, and validate the same message. And they actively seek to call any disagreement with their marketing “disinformation” or “Russian interference”.

So shutvthe fuck up and get your fucking shine box, you ignorant child.

      3. slo troll: “Capo, the Village Idiot doesn’t know the difference between an opinion and a fact”

You seem to confuse opinions for facts…..I found this explanation for dummies….get educated

A fact is a statement that can be proven to be true by the use of evidence. Factual statements are true in all cases and for all people; in other words, facts are universal.

        Some examples include:
        Dogs are mammals.
Albany is the capital of New York.
Mount Everest is the tallest mountain on Earth.
Each of these statements is true. Furthermore, each statement is verifiable and not debatable, provided that definitions are agreed upon. Put simply, evidence exists that could potentially prove or disprove each claim.

        Opinions
Opinions, unlike facts, are neither true nor false. An opinion can express a belief, attitude, value, judgment, or feeling.

        Some examples include:
Dogs are the best mammals in existence.
Albany is the most interesting city in New York.
World War II was a terrible war.
Each of these statements expresses an opinion. Note that each is debatable. In other words, one can potentially agree or disagree with (debate) a statement of opinion.

  8. I’m not sure…but…the officiating in the Bengals/Chiefs may be the most one sided I’ve ever see. What is holding for the Bengals isn’t holding for the Chiefs, what is roughing for the Bengals isn’t roughing for the Chiefs, what is intentional grounding for the Bengals isn’t intentional grounding for the Chiefs, what constitutes out of bounds and a stopped clock for the Chiefs doesn’t apply to the Bengals.
Hope the officials can look themselves in the mirror.

  9. TRIEBITER, the Eagles have a Pwr. Offense that will keep Mahomes off the field and a Defense that will force the Chiefs into a one trick Offense (i.e. 3 and out).

The SB could be the NFL version of Georgia (Eagles) vs TCU (Chiefs).
