USC started spring practice today with little fanfare because the media was not allowed to attend. There will also be no media at Tuesday’s second practice.
The big news today was the visit of five-star QB Dylan Raiola, who did watch practice.
It feels like it will be USC and Nebraska for Raiola. I wonder how closely he watched five-star QB Malachi Nelson in his first USC practice.
First practices are notorious for being uneventful but here’s some hype video from USC if you need it.

I doin’t think Raiola going to be swayed that much by Malichi Nelson. He’ll face competition anywhere if he wants to play at a big football power as he would have had he gone to Ohio State.

Hopefully we can get Jordan Lockhart from St John Bosco. He just decommitted from Mississippi. That kid is big, fast, mean and packs a big punch. He will be one of the highest rated LB’s after the 2023 season.

Wolf, if you had read any other site you would have been told that Malachi Nelson is not participating in Spring football in order to recoup from shoulder surgery. So Raiola will be watching Moss instead.
