The annual USC-UCLA track meet saw the Bruins defeat the Trojans in the men’s meet, 88-70, while the Trojan women won, 88-75.
It was the ninth straight dual meet win for the USC women.
Can I just say that these track meets are run in the most fan-unfriendly way possible. The announcer at Drake Stadium never gave team scores so after events the fans had no idea which team was winning. It’s a horrible way to stage a meet.
Remember, last year, USC announced the wrong team winning the meet and then an hour later had to correct the results, after the athletes celebrated by running a lap around the track.
College track and field can be a joke.
