USC Baseball Salvages Series

USC used a six-run second inning to defeat Oregon, 11-4, on Sunday at Dedeaux Field.

Jacob Galloway went 3 for 5 with 2 RBI while Johnny Olmstead went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. USC had 13 hits but 12 were singles.

USC is 27-20-1 after taking 2 of 3 games vs. the Ducks. Every victory counts if USC wants to keep its slim NCAA hopes alive.

  2. I don’t see how you “salvage” a series if you win the rubber match. I’d say that phrase is more appropriate if you win the final game to avoid a sweep.

  3. I was at the game yesterday. SC had used most of their bullpin in the first two games and playing 5 games in 7 days did not help. SC brought in an infielder that is turning into a pitcher in the top of the 8th. His number is 8 and his name is Nate Clow. After the first batter he just buzzed saw the peking ducks. Also, I saw Bohn there and let him know that his sports program is picking up and he was very thankful and appreicative.

    Spoke to a player after the game and he believes SC will be in the ncca tournament.

        right now they are in 6th place. However, there is still 8 game left with 6 in conference play. Getting into third is duable since ASU is head of SC but by a game or two. SC plays ASU this weekend at SC. Im going again.

Greetings fans , well the nba refs lousey watch the tv monitor to see what occured! the lakers had a lot of free throws and are still playing does not say much for the nba lakers stink ? looks like Denver only viable team playing right now!!! boston has tatum then large drop off in talent to brown and smart ! wig williams and horford are lousey ? heres griffin hes way better williams ?
