When you throw a bunch of college coaches together at a showcase like yesterday’s event at St. John Bosco, what do they talk about?
Here was a conversation: Some Pac-12 coaches talked about how one school in the conference fed its quarterback and receivers more expensive food (like steaks) than the rest of the team on Friday nights before games. Talk about a great way to divide the team.
And the school makes total sense once you try to figure out who the most superficial coach is in the league. Another hint: It’s not a conference power.
Speaking of superficial, Donte Williams always tries to stand out in his letterman’s jacket. At least he didn’t wear the baseball jersey he has at previous events.

Leadership has been poor for the PAC 12 for numerous years. I do not blame Scott for all the woes as the school presidents had a say in the direction of the conference. The marquee program was receiving the same pay as the other states schools. Riding on the coattails of USC was not a long term solution.
