Morning Buzz: A Lot Going On At USC

USC got a commitment Sunday from Florida State cornerback Greedy Vance.

Vance appeared in all 14 games with five starts last season and recorded 18 tackles, one interception and three pass breakups. He was competing to play nickel back at Florida State spring practice.

It shows USC’s coaching staff isn’t as confident as some fans regarding the secondary.

  • USC cornerback Ceyair Wright will meet with the coaching staff early this week to discuss his future and whether he will enter the transfer portal.

Wright did not participate in spring practice and is not on the current roster. Did he not participate because he was suspended? Lincoln Riley would not say.

  • Eric Musselman wants to hire former Washington assistant coach Quincy Pondexter as his final assistant coach.

That would give USC two former Washington assistants after Musselman hired former Huskies assistant Will Conroy.

It sure looks like Jen Cohen was involved here as Pondexter and Conroy were former Washington players and coaches. Doesn’t seem like Musselman has a lot of contacts but we knew that before he got hired.

“They’re hiring two guys who got (Washington coach) Mike Hopkins fired,” a Big 12 assistant coach quipped.

  1. Nothing much goes on around here and with SC football in the rearview mirror until September, what’s there to write about-

    To Sex or Not-

Yeah, we are talking about the usual sexual intercourse movement made by the man to which “In&Out” made famous, while woman can while her way through the ‘girlfriend’ task for afterall it is woman that largely controls matters of romance and sex as evidenced by the high demand for women, not so much the other way around

As a result I give women as much as I can afford
