USC’s entire offensive line returns intact led by left tackle Elijah Paige, who is a three-year starter.
That has led some to say the offensive line is a USC strength.
But they didn’t always shine last season and I have doubts about the unit despite its experience, especially since the offensive line has been an Achilles’ heel for the Trojans during the entire Riley Era.
I’ve been at odds with some pundits for several years about this as they always claim the line is better and will be excellent, but for some reason it doesn’t happen.
They have had moments but have never been dominating over the course of the season. Some believe there might be 1-2 new starters, which suggests the returning five is not as good as some people think.
This is all part of the same issue with the secondary and linebackers. We will see how good they are during the season. Right now, it’s just guesswork.
Seek appropriate miracles please!

Yezza MG! How’s everything? Pray all is well!
Retirement has its benefits with some boredom in between.
Measured optimism is a must with Trojans until proven otherwise 😅

I agree 100% with every word, my friend! Please stick around: Your intelligence cancels out ‘someone else.’

Sorry MG and member posters, been unable to “like” any of your comments for almost two years. Can’t seem to figure out why. 🙏
I do visit from time to time.
FYI am in Southeast Asia, so the timing is a little off 😬

I don’t think Lupita is even close to being ugly.
But a face to launch a thousand ships? No.

Our new Helen would probably be the prettiest woman in the L. A. City Attorney’s Office….but that’s a far cry from being the incarnation of Venus on the planet earth…..

September 26th is The Decider. Can we beat a team that is more talented on paper and picked ahead of us in every preseason publication?

btw, Scott nailed it again. We will in spite of our d-backs and linebackers…not because of them.

DON: Scott Wolf dismisses us “pundits” for being overly optimistic about the team
KAM: When we wish for a better offensive line it’s more about ‘hope than reasoning

KAM: Sorry if I keep pressing on this Iran situation but it is one of the turning point historical events of our time. And I liked how you announced that the U.S, as one of the guardians of the Strait, will be levying a “surcharge” of 20% on all vessels
DON: All the money we pour into the Middle East, it might as well be our 51st state. No, sorry Iran, the U.S. has as much control over the Strait as you do

Scooter,
You nailed it on the head. The SC oline is soft. Spit it out. They are soft. They are nothing compared to when SC was running the ball behind Munoz with the same play being run every other play and ohio st could not stop it. When they can sustain at least 6 drives in a game by running the ball and scoring a td or a field goal, then I will say that they are good.

DON: You see where a Wolf poster said he had not found one post in 2 years that he would give a “like” to
KAM: He can’t be talking about the Wolf Blog. We’re all great here

You see, MG! The real Sparrow was able to read.
This fake Sparrow’s true identity is all too obvious.
