Wide receiver Tanook Hines is physically limited due to an undisclosed injury, according to Lincoln Riley, who said he expects Hines to be ready to go for USC’s season opener against San Jose State on Aug. 29.
“Don’t expect anything overly serious with that at all,” Riley said.
Freshman receiver Roderick Tezeno underwent an operation following a foot injury in the spring but is expected to be back during training camp.
Asked today who could have a breakout season, Riley mentioned Wisconsin transfer tight end Tucker Ashcroft, wide receiver Zacharyus Williams and cornerback Alex Graham. Williams and Graham are returning players.

Assuming Hines is healthy, he should be a star. 10.07 100 meters and he crushed the Quacks – without him the loss would have been much bigger. What about Waymo Jordan? Is he 100 percent recovered from ankle?
