You didn’t really think the Pac-12 would go undefeated in the bowl season, did you? And even though Pitt was missing a lot of players, the Panthers weren’t in El Paso on vacation. Good for El Paso. It’s the friendiest bowl out there because of its volunteers who cherish the Sun Bowl. As we look back at 2022, here’s another Trojan who passed away. Steve Lehmer, a three-year starter on the offensive line at USC from 1967-69 and member of the 1967 national championship team, died on July 14. He was 74. But Pac-12 officials have been busy during bowl season. They worked … Continue reading USC-Tulane Has SEC Feel

He wore a sleeve on his left leg. We’ll see if Lincoln Riley is forthcoming regarding Williams’ status. USC defensive coordinator Alex Grinch was asked today about the standards at USC. “The expectation here (at … Continue reading Caleb Williams Practices In Texas
The 2022 season still has one more game left but I’m pulling out my crystal ball for a 2023 prediction. I predict USC will finally win the Pac-12 title next season and play in the College Football Playoff. USC will play Alabama in the semifinals and lose, 42-24. Even though the College Football Playoff expands in 2024, I think it will be tough for USC … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: A 2023 Prediction
