USC Morning Buzz: Oregon’s Intentions Clear

New Oregon coach Dan Lanning is making it clear what his priority is when it comes to the Ducks’ coaching staff: Recruiting. Offensive line coach Adrian Klemm, who was previously at UCLA, got a two–year show-cause order in 2016 for arranging training services and housing for two recruits worth $2,400 that he paid for outside of NCAA rules. Presumably, he can return for another season if he chooses. Michael Pittman caught 12 passes for 82 yards yesterday for the Indianapolis Colts. It’s funny to think Clay Helton was starting Jalen Greene at wide receiver but … Continue reading USC Sunday Notes

Everyone mentioned the USC-to-Pitt quarterback pipeline when Kedon Slovis repeated the same transfer as Max Browne. But they forgot to add former USC QB Ricky Town also transferred to Pitt, so it really is a trend. Town played in just one game at Pitt, completing one pass. He famously left USC during training camp after getting a look at Sam Darnold. Is there any reason … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
