Thanks, Enfield (Again)!!
Oregon defeated USC, 81-60. Kevin Porter Jr. was suspended for unspecified conduct issues and did not play. USC’s 60 points were a season low. Jonah Mathews had 15 points while Bennie Boatwright had 13 points and 8 rebounds. The Trojans are 9-8 overall and 2-2 in the Pac-12. UPDATED: Enfield said Porter’s suspension is indefinite. Do USC And Its Fans Just Want An Air Raid Offense?
I spoke to an NFL scout today who attended North Texas practices. The offensive coordinator is Graham Harrell, who was recommended to USC by Kliff Kingsbury. “I was able to figure out their offense watching one practice,” the scout said. “There are variations with the receiver but it doesn’t take long to figure out where the ball is going. A season or two in Alabama will position him … Continue reading Steve Sarkisian Could Choose Alabama Over Arizona Cardinals
USC Wide Receiver Randal Grimes Visiting Minnesota
Former USC wide receiver Randal Grimes, who announced after the season he would transfer, is visiting Minnesota this weekend. Why would Grimes, who is from Nevada, want to go to Minnesota? Maybe because of his high school teammates — safety Jordan Howden and 2019 recruit Cam Wiley — will play for the Gophers next season. In any event, playing for P.J. Fleck sounds better than playing … Continue reading USC Wide Receiver Randal Grimes Visiting Minnesota
Former USC Assistant Bob Connelly Surfaces
Remember Bob Connelly, the oft-criticized offensive line coach at USC under Steve Sarkisian? He came to USC after coaching at Oklahoma State, Arizona State, UTEP, UCLA, Alabama and Washington State. He spent the 2017 season coaching at Long Beach Poly. Well, he is going to Northern Arizona according to Football Scoop. Connelly might have the longest resume in college football.
