In Memoriam: Charles White
Charles White, perhaps the greatest tailback in USC history, died last January. He was 64. White won a national title, a Heisman Trophy, was a two-time unanimous All-American, won two Rose Bowl MVPs and is the all-time leading rusher in USC history (6,245 yards). It’s USC tailbacks Jon Arnett and C.R. Roberts celebrating in the Coliseum locker room after the Trojans upset No. 5-ranked Notre Dame, 42-20, before 94,892 in 1955. The victory silenced critics … Continue reading Happy New Year!
In Memoriam: Dave Levy

Although he was not a head coach at USC, if you ask any player during the years he coached (1960-75), they would mention him and not John McKay as the coach they loved and had fond memories of from their days as Trojans. And they all agreed Levy … Continue reading In Memoriam: Dave Levy
