USC Reaction: What Did We Just Watch?
Well, not even Cal could be an easy victory. It’s amazing how USC can underachieve this season on a weekly basis. Cal was down to its fourth-and-fifth string tailback and still lost by only a point. The USC defense is beyond hope and the offense is plagued by inconsistency as the offensive line can’t provide pass protection and Caleb Williams seems increasingly affected by it. … Continue reading USC Reaction: What Did We Just Watch?
USC-Cal Live Blog
USC squeaks by Cal, 50-49. The flaws of the program were on full display. This never should have been a 1-point game. USC had all the momentum and then the defense let Cal score a TD. The rivalry could be fierce at times and there were some classic games. Now it’s a footnote to the conference realignment craze. Wide receiver Xavier Jordan, a four-star prospect from Sierra Canyon, might decommit from USC. Some … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
Apparently, Mediocrity Is Acceptable
Maybe the dumbest thing Lincoln Riley said today concerned recruiting. “I think our recruiting has been as expected,” Riley said.USC is currently ranked No. 25 in the nation by Rivals. Since when is that as expected? We’re talking about USC, not Oregon State. The truth is USC’s recruiting has mainly been done through the transfer portal. So Riley is crazy if he thinks it’s “as … Continue reading Apparently, Mediocrity Is Acceptable
