The Big Ten Schedules Lost Some Luster
Looking at the Big Ten schedules for 2024-28, I feel like it’s not quite as attractive as I imagined. USC only plays Michigan or Ohio State but not both in any single season. In 2025, USC doesn’t even play Ohio State or Penn State. In fact, the Trojans play Penn State every other year. The first game at Iowa is not until 2027. The Big Ten has released its 2024 amended schedule after the addition of Oregon and Washington. Here’s USC games: Home: Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers, Wisconsin. Away: Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Washington, UCLA. REACTION: The big one, of course, is the trip to Michigan. The other Midwest road trips are not bad. This seems pretty favorable.
