Linebacker Becomes Special Teams Specialist
One player you haven’t heard much about this season is linebacker Raesjon Davis. But Lincoln Riley was asked about him Tuesday. “We’re really pleased,” Riley said. “He’s been a special teams impact player for a couple of weeks now. “He’s really progressing defensively. He’s one of those guys who is right on the cusp of playing significant reps and earning time. He’s worked hard. He’s really … Continue reading Linebacker Becomes Special Teams Specialist
USC Morning Buzz: Pac-12 Poll Is Out!
USC was picked to finish fourth in the Pac-12 preseason men’s basketball poll, which is exactly what the oddsmakers listed earlier in the week. Have the Trojans ever been picked to win the conference by the poll, which started in 1984-85? No. Of course that was the season USC last won the Pac-12. 2022-23 PAC-12 MEN’S BASKETBALL PRESEASON MEDIA POLL Team (First Place Votes) Points … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Pac-12 Poll Is Out!
Are USC’s Receiver Numbers All That?
USC is going great with a 6-1 record and chance to win the Pac-12 title. Players are still players, however. So as I looked at Arizona’s wide receiver stats, I couldn’t help but wonder if USC’s receivers are happy with their numbers? Jordan Addison has 39 receptions (after getting 100 at Pitt last season) but the numbers tail off quite a bit after that. Mario … Continue reading Are USC’s Receiver Numbers All That?

As I said this morning, since they are not 100 percent, does it make sense to play them this weekend? Depends on how much better they feel by Saturday. And now for some basketball. Here are BetOnline’s current odds, which have USC fourth in the … Continue reading Jordan Addison And Eric Gentry Do Not Practice
USC Morning Buzz: Arizona An Attractive Prospect From One Perspective
USC plays Arizona on Saturday. I hear Trojans wide receiver Gary Bryant is interested in transferring to Arizona. Bryant is redshirting and expected to enter the transfer portal. The Wildcats are an attractive prospect for a wide receiver when you consider Jacob Cowing has 53 receptions; Dorian Singer has 41; Tetairoa McMillan has 28 and Tanner McLachlan has 23. I’m hearing wide receiver Jordan Addison … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Arizona An Attractive Prospect From One Perspective
Stanford Desperate For Fans
The Pac-12 is reaching new lows when it comes to ticket sales. Stanford is offering free tickets to its final two home games of the season vs. Washington State and BYU. It’s called a “test drive” because you can get these seats as season tickets next season but there is no obligation. Why is Stanford doing this? See below: Stanford takes the field as some … Continue reading Stanford Desperate For Fans
