Who Are Your Underrated USC Players?
Has anyone been underrated this season for USC? I’m talking about guys who don’t get a lot of headlines. Someone like linebacker Eric Gentry gets a lot of praise, so he’s not underrated. I think an underrated player is defensive tackle Tyrone Taleni, who has quietly put together some solid games. He had three tackles and 1.5 sacks vs. Arizona State. He’s a transfer from … Continue reading Who Are Your Underrated USC Players?
A Dissenting Opinion On Uniform Change
I give Su’a Cravens credit. Even though he works for USC on its Coliseum pre-game and post-game radio shows, he isn’t afraid to say what he thinks. Even when USC is promoting its awful yellow tights that are being worn by some players and now Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey. “I hate em!!! Bring thw Red Tights.” As you can see, Cravens’ colleague Max Browne is … Continue reading A Dissenting Opinion On Uniform Change
USC Morning Buzz: Big Test For Offensive Tackles
The USC coaches are most worried this week about Washington State’s outside pass rush. USC’s been rotating Bobby Haskins and Courtland Ford at left tackle. Ford got only 14 snaps last week but he is healthier this week and should play more. USC Night Notes: Wide Receiver Update
It’s assumed Gary Bryant will enter the transfer portal but I hear he’s suited up for practice this week. Why is that surprising? You don’t want to risk injury with two years of eligibility left at another school. Wide receiver Terrell Bynum has been bothered by a shoulder injury so he’s questionable. Continue reading USC Night Notes: Wide Receiver Update

UCLA is selling tickets at the 30-yard line at the Utah game for $29. The Clippers will give fans a preview of the 2022-23 team on Thursday with a free open practice at the Galen Center. Contact the club for tickets/information. The Cardinal Divas made the Washington Post. Continue reading USC Notes: A Ticket Deal Exists
Lincoln Riley Says USC Kick Return Is Disappointing
Lincoln Riley this morning on offensive Justin Dedich: “He’s better. It’s good that we were able to hold him [against Arizona State]. Where that leaves us? We’ll see.” On Special Teams: ““Kickoff has had some good games and some bad games.” Kick return is “a disappointment.” Field goals have been “really good.” Punting is”a strength.” And punt return: “Solid.” On the pass interference calls in … Continue reading Lincoln Riley Says USC Kick Return Is Disappointing
