Well, that was fitting. All the lack of discipline and non-sense the first five games came home to roost tonight against a team that had some athletes, which is why I picked Oregon. Kedon Slovis is worse this season. Graham Harrell did not improve the running game this season. Todd Orlando let his defense run wild all season and not in a good way. Sean … Continue reading Discuss The USC-Oregon Game

Great interception. And even if you disagree, USC was a joke tonight. Bru McCoy with the TD catch. Another comeback? Talanoa Hufanga runs into the punter. Complete lack of discipline on this team all season. USC has a big onsides kick and then squanders it. The entire USC offense consists of throwing to Drake London. Maybe Sean Snyder should be fired tonight? Oregon leads USC, … Continue reading USC-Oregon Live Blog

I already made my pick this morning. Now it’s your turn. USC is talking trash on twitter apparently. Didn’t Oregon lose its No. 1 cornerback (Thomas Graham), its Rose Bowl defensive MVP (safety Brady Breeze) and a projected first-round draft pick (safety Jevon Holland), who all opted out of the season. But I give Oregon a decent chance of winning this game and I am picking … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column

Can you imagine this kind of Victory Bell celebration today after beating UCLA? This is what happened on campus in 1952 after No. 4-ranked USC defeated No. 3 UCLA, 14-12. The rally was hastily planned after the game and took place at 11 a.m. Monday. And George Tirebiter was present. USC won the game when Al “Hoagy” Carmichael caught a 4-yard TD pass on fourth … Continue reading USC Picture Of The Night

UCLA athletic director Martin Jarmond denied a report from FootballScoop.com that Chip Kelly might not return next season. It listed Urban Meyer and Chris Petersen as potential replacements. What I like is how Jarmond sent out a tweet to deny the story. Not true. Very disappointing @FootballScoop , how about you call me next time. Go Bruins! 💙🐻💛 https://t.co/HBqqyKhKNr — Martin Jarmond (@MartinJarmond) December 17, … Continue reading UCLA Denies Chip Kelly Might Not Return
