QUARTERBACK Something is wrong with Kedon Slovis. He isn’t saying. Clay Helton isn’t saying. Graham Harrell isn’t saying. But like everything else with USC and its easy schedule, it might not matter. Grade: D RUNNING BACKS If I have an observation off the Utah game, I’d probably like to see Kenan Christon start getting more carries, since the offense could use a breakaway threat. I bet the USC season-ticket holders who hate night games are noting the first two home games are early starts when no fans are allowed. Night games will probably return next year for the return of the fans. Continue reading USC-Colorado Game Time Set

USC had a pretty good defensive performance Saturday but it’s amazing how quickly the quotes and reactions go over the top. Did Utah play its first game of the season? Were quarterbacks Cameron Rising and Jake Bentley awful? It didn’t matter because Clay Helton never mentioned either of those things in evaluating the performance. Clay Helton on Todd Orlando: He has no fear in his … Continue reading USC Sunday Buzz: Break Out Champagne For Defense
